UNEMPLOYED ANGEL
PROVINCETOWN SQUARE
CAPE COD, MA
My professional background is in education and business administration; my passion, however is writing, with reading running a close second place.
The last quarter of my working life was spent as a Purchasing Director for a mid-size, historical, industrial revolution City built along the Blackstone River, in the State of Rhode Island. Prior to that I was an Employment Counselor and Personnel Director; before that, a teacher.
I have been writing poetry since I was fifteen or so, self-publishing my first book of poetry at twenty-three, and a second at twenty-five. More recently, I have managed to find my way back after a long and arduous trek, beset by the lions tigers and bears of my own Oz, to find myself published in such places as Aphelion, Death Head Grin, Psychopoetica, Pens on Fire, Mad Swirl.com, e-muse zine, Cerebration, Censored Poets, the Poet's Haven, Zygote in my Coffee, A Long Story Short, Rag Mag.org, A Tender Touch and A Shade of Blue, Silver Wings Magazine.
I am retired and spend my time writing, reading, motorcycling, chasing my naked muse around the woods, Siesta Key Beach, and otherwise causing havoc and embarrassment to my family.
When I grow up, I want to be normal and somewhat taller, with no addictions, especially to psychotropic drugs or an intense dislike for arrogance.
